B. [概念] Alarm Calls - some animals give out alarm calls to respond to danger, so they can warn their companions of an approaching predator. However, sometimes a counterfeit alarm call is deliberately used by an animal just to frighten their companions away.
[实例] The vervet monkeys often search their food together and share it with each other. When one monkey spots a leopard, it would cry out loudly so other members would immediately run away. However, the scientists found there was no leopard nearby. In a while, other monkey returned, only to find that the calling monkey was eating the food alone.
