>People do many different things to stay healthy. What do you do for good health? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
To enjoy the glow of good health, people must exercise. For me, walking is the best possible exercise, particularly when walking fast. A vigorous long walk for its own sake will do good for the body and mind.
Unlike many other physical activities that also benefit the body, walking somewhat quickly, yet short of running out of breath, is labor almost without weariness. It proves to be the chief source of improvement in my physical faculties. I concentrate on exercise from the waist down since that is the laziest part of an individual's body, like after sitting too long in front of a TV or computer screen. I prefer this effortless exercise to bicycling or playing games because by going back and forth for miles I could feel more relaxed and comfortable. And that is why, time being not the issue, I would rather use my legs and feet than riding a bus or other means of weekday mass commuting. Even though there are times to be engaged in school sport activities, I have eventually found that walking as exercise is the cheapest and safest way to stay healthy.
Furthermore, of all sport activities, I think that walking at a desired speed outdoors should be specially regarded as tribute to the mind. Exercise in general, as all doctors would suggest, helps people maintain strong health not only physically but also mentally. I am just glad to have been given the opportunity to do what I enjoy most--walking at will like jogging cheerfully. It is good to my mind, as if making me feel psychologically being needed on the ground and therefore becoming mentally very at ease. I believe that perseverance in doing daily exercise like walking is first of all important to a healthy body, hence leading to the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. It is understandable that, with its moderation and balance, walking as a habit ensures a good night's sleep which in turn contributes to a sound mind.
To conclude, true enjoyment of a happy life must necessarily come from activity of the mind and exercise of the body, the two being ever united. For me, by simply keeping the practice of walking on a regular basis, plus perhaps a healthy diet, I can expect to reach a certain standard of physical and mental fitness as priority in my daily life. Anyway, people need to do physical exercise whatever to have good health on which much of human happiness is built.
