T1 【事件】
Do you think keeping pets is beneficial? Please explain your reasons.
有些人养宠物，像小狗和小猫。你认为养宠物好吗?请用理由和细节来解释。
T2 【学习】
Some students prefer to go to university immediately after high school. Others prefer to take a break or work for a while before going to university. Which do you prefer and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your response.
一些学生喜欢一从高中毕业就去上大学;一些学生喜欢在上大学之前休息或工作一段时间。你更喜欢哪个?为什么?用具体原因和例子来解释。
T3.阅读部分：有学生summer时不在，希望能将公寓短期转租，由于学校租金高，无法出租。
Lecture：女生说根本不是费用问题
1. 学校租金已经很低了，若是还租不出，学校应该架设个网站，让人可查询哪里可以租;
2. 另外就是很多学生summer的时候都还会在，没有这必要出租。
T4.Reading: tragedy of commons. 给了定义和解释
Lecture:教授举了两个例子说明什么是tragedy of commons.
1. 其一是fishing.说当然捕的鱼多，挣的钱多。能access to ocean的人自然愿意去多fishing。但是一旦over fishing，大家就都finished out with no fish.
2. 其二是grazing. 说一个属于整个village的草坪，大家都喜欢把自己的动物带来grazing，草吃完了长起来，大家就带更多的动物来，当然草会被吃光了，然后就overgrazing了。
T5.P: 男生本来约好一个group discussing，是关于一个due on Monday的paper。但是男的父亲周末五十大寿，他想回去celebrate。
1. 说向group member解释一下，让他们帮着help out。男的觉得说不好吧。
2. 男的自己有说要么就Sunday早点回来，然后还能赶上回来discuss。但是又不知道会不会让他家里人disappointment。
T6.有时候动物吃的东西不是我们想象中的东西，有时候会吃点乱七八糟的东西
1. 比如说earth or soil.他们吃这些东西是有作用的。然后举两个鸟的例子。一个是R鸟，吃soil是为了磨碎食物，这样help digestion, 说因为鸟没有牙吖，所以吃soil可以帮助把大的食物，esp. large seeds, 磨成small pieces.
2. 另一个是鹦鹉Parrot，吃soil可以neutralize失误中的poison，这样就不会get sick
讲tax on gas, 为了减少碳排放污染.
阅读部分三点反对这种税款
1, 错误经济. 价格应该准确反映成本, 而不是为这种东西收钱
2, 不公平. 穷人富人都交一样的税, 穷人比较吃亏
3, 更好的措施, 要求美国车厂生产无污染的车, 这样还可以增加国际竞争力.
听力部分三点完美对应：
1, 正确经济. 现在的价格不能准确反映成本, 比如汽车撞坏了路会要求修路, 还有治理环境污染都需要成本。
2, 公平. 可以依靠减少穷人的收入所得税来弥补他们被征走的汽油税。
3, 税同样可以增加竞争力. 由于价格提高了, 人们需求减少, 市场竞争就变得激烈, 车厂不得不改进车辆质量, 于是整体竞争力提高

Do you think it is a good thing to take plastic surgery?
I’d like to say that creativity is the most important trait that I admire most.
First, creativity is a trigger for people to gain knowledge. Take Steve Jobs – the father of the Apple incorporation as an example, he would never be so legendary without his creativity. Thanks to his curiosity, he successfully created a series of apple products.
Plus, creativity motivates people to explore the technology. People need to keep working day after day and the creativity plays a significant role in the research and study. A creative man is more likely to make breakthroughs in his field and this is how and why we have new stuff in our lives.
So I admire creativity most.
